Welcome to 3rd Grade! We hope that everyone is ready for an exciting year in third grade! Third grade is an important step in education. It consists of many new tasks and skills for students. Students are required to think more critically and work more independently.
Our goal is to guide and instruct students so that they will be fully prepared for fourth grade. In order to accomplish this goal, teamwork is critical. Each third grade teacher will provide daily instruction, assign meaningful assignments, and create a stimulating environment with opportunities for success.
Parents serve as their child’s first and best teacher. Please go over your child’s homework nightly, and sign your child’s take home binder. Have meaningful conversations about your child’s learning with your child. Ask questions. Listen carefully. Stay connected.
Students will explore many topics in third grade! There is so much to do, but we will do everything through fun and enjoyable hands-on activities, creative projects, and innovative instructional practices.
